LG Cosmos - says it deletes messages but it doesn't. Inbox is full.

LG Cosmos - inbox is almost full.  It will not delete any messages although it says it is deleting them.  Can't delete individual or by phone number.  They're not locked.  I tried turning phone off & on.  Any other suggestions?

You can try removing the battery (while the phone is on); wait a few minutes, then reinsert the battery and restart the phone.  That will sometimes clear up memory issues.

If that doesn't work, then post back and we can further troubleshoot.
