LG EXALT LTE MESSAGING TEXT SIZE

Hello,

Is there a way to increase the size of the "MESSAGING TEXT " print on the LG Exalt LTE?    I tried just changing the font size to large....but not sure this has an impact on messaging text size.....still too small to read at times.   On my previous Revere II I could continue to enlarge the messaging print by toggling L side volume swith until it was large enough to read on the go...... Can't seem to do this w/ LTE.....  If I forget my reading glasses I can't read the messages at all.
