LG Extravert wont update!!

I've done everything i possibly can do to update this. Tried over the air downloads, didn't work. Used the update assistant. that didn't work either. I am unable to access the internet, send/receive pictures, access the app store or even back up my contacts. HELP!

I am here to make sure your data services are working consistently!  You have dealt with this for far too long! Can you please clarify the current software version on the device?  Menu>Settings and Tools>Phone Info>SW/HW Version>SW Version. How long have you had this device?  How long has your data services been malfunctioning?  I am confident we can continue to work with you to get you up and running!

Running on SW Version VN271V2. I've had this phone for about 4 months. I've been dealing with it ever since.

I have the LG Extravert too SW VN271ZV4. I was told today by tec support the V5 update is now out. I went through all the steps and the phone will not update. The pictures are resized when you send them text or EM and are so small you can barely see them. I spent 2 hr on the phone with customer service who had to call LG themselves, and after all their help nothing has changed. This phone is a piece of crap. After being told by them it may be a defective phone I returned it and got another, and still had the same problem. I called them back and they said maybe the whole batch of them were defective. I took that phone back to the store and then went to another store and got a 3rd phone, and STILL nothing has changed. I will be returning this phone tomorrow. I'm so done with Verizon.

I am having the same problem with mine. I just got it yesterday. I have called 6 times already nad nothing is fixed... I can not send pic messages. I cant post pics on Facebook even though I have unlimited web. I can't do anything but call and text. It looks like a really nice phone, but it just wont work right. I am tired of trying to fix it and I am about fed up with it...
