I am having an issue, my phone is not recognized when attached to the PC for an update. I have been back and forth to 3 stores, they now have sent me a replacement phone, still no luck updating! How do I get a resolution? The store and manufacturer dont seem to be able to help.

I'm sorry the device is giving your trouble! Is the device detectable at all when plugged into the computer? What update are you trying to receive? I'd love to help, please keep me posted!

Wow! I never found the reply you sent to me so long ago, thanks! So anyway, I had 2 phone replacements, I am able to update the phone to a point, but cannot get the phone to be recognized in the "Verizon Access Manager" or Windows Live/Marketplace", so I cannot download ant apps, I can only have what is on the phone basics...internet, Bing, City ID, VZ Navagator, outlook email and the like...I have gone back and forth with Verizon stores (3 of them), all saying sorry we don't know the windows platform, we cant help you, you could replace your phone, but your contract is not up for another year, so you would have to pay to change the contract...then I try to go thru Micorsoft and Windows Help, nothing, then the phone manufacturer, they sent the "fix" that was the download to upgrade the phone system, I already had that!
PLEASE HELP! I have gone thru numerous forums, they do some really funky stuff to get it to the point I think I want to be at. One forum helped me to see that I am missing a device driver that allows my phone to be recognized by going thru a dropdown on the computer, but I can't seem to find the patch/driver to download....very exhausting! I have been having problems since I went on vacation June 9th!

I can see why you would be frustrated! Have you been able to try a different computer? At this point is seems like that is the common denominator that we have not addressed. Or possibly a different USB cable. Are you able to download apps directly from the phone? Keep me posted.
