Are you trying to transfer ringtones TO the Revere, or FROM the Revere to another phone?
Try Zedge.com - you can choose from their free selection, purchase, or make your own. Once you register your phone, the tones are formatted to work properly. I've had no issues with the service.

Re: I have an LG Revere 3-What is the format for ringtones?
Same problem here. Customer support hasn't given an adequate answer or fix for the problem, yet.

I was told by customer support that transfer of data to a Revere 3 thru USB is not possible.
I think you will need to use bluetooth.

Bluetooth transfer doesn't currently work for custom audio files, unless you've somehow had different results.

You didn't mention custom audio files before. And your right there. The revere 3 is just a basic phone, with not much capability.
