I accidentally locked my sim card. I only have a few more tries to unlock it. I need a PUK number. I kept seeing posts about how I could do it through MyVerizon but saw NOTHING! If I take out my sim card I am able to use my phone just fine but I have important contacts on my sim that aren't in my phone! Anyone able to help me?
I'm confused - Verizon basic phones don't use SIM cards - do you mean the SD memory card?
And if you do have a SIM card, then you have something other than a basic phone and your question is better answered on the section for that type of phone.
What phone do you want to use the card in (and is it, in fact, a SIM card or an SD or micro SD card?)
It is a pantech Jest 2. It is a basic phone with data usage capabilities but are not being used. The sim card came with the phone.
You probably didn't accidentally lock it. The SIM card probably came locked from Verizon.
You should probably call 1-800-711-8300 and ask the agent if they will perform an unlock on your phone.
