I downloaded and installed the USB drivers for LG using the "LG VZW_United_WHQL_v2.13.0.exe" file. I see three different drivers in device manager now. However, when I try to sync from my LG Dare (Model VX9700) I will see a new Unknown Device temporarily show up in the Device Manager on my Windows 7 SP1 system. It has the following information:
Name: V CAST Mobile Phone - VX9700
Hardware IDs:
USB\VID_1004&PID_6010&REV_0002
USB\VID_1004&PID_6010
It goes away after a few seconds and then says the following on the phone:
"Connect Failure.
Please check your cable connection to the PC.
Press END or CLR to exit
My Music (button) Retry (button)"
From what I have read it looks like I need to download the verizon v cast music manager on my PC side, though it will supposedly integrate with Windows Media Player 10.x/11.x (I have version 12 installed).
Any suggestions?
