Lumia Icon Frimware Update (NOT Cyan)

For those running the Developer Preview of Windows Phone 8.1 on the Lumia Icon missed out on a firmware update released by VZW for Windows Phone 8.0 back in May.  Today they released that firmware for the Lumia Icon running Developer Preview of Windows Phone 8.1.

Please understand this is not Windows Phone 8.1 + Cyan.

The Lumia Icon 1028.3566.1417.0047 firmware contains two central components, including:

  • Improvements to Wi-Fi Connectivity to ensure a more consistent experience
  • Roaming enhancements when traveling internationally
