Good Lord! Those Verizon iPhones, Droids and BlackBerries are expensive! There are so many different models to choose from. And regardless of what I choose, the cost is still sooooo high.
I think I will go with that prepaid phone from WalMart or Target. (Bye Bye Customer - Bye Bye Contract - Bye Bye Sales Commission)
Wouldn't it be nice if Verizon could carry a dependable phone with a dependable operating system that was easy to use, easy to support AND came in a variety of prices?
Land Rover and Kia. Grady White and Jon Boat. Harley and Schwinn. All get you from Point A to Point B and do so in a desired budget and fashion.
So why not the Mango and the Tango WP Phones? HTC/Samsung/Nokia mac-daddy devices for the high end user and an affordable Nokia/LG for the customer who likes quality and ease - but has a limited budget. Apple and Google have promised this for years.
Imagine not losing a customer to a pre paid phone? Imagine offering a variety of phones that everyone can afford, but only supporting 1 operating system in VZW Support? If common sense doesn't hit you between the eyes, hopefully greed will!
Coffee's brewing Verizon. Wake up and give it a sniff.

Might I add that Tango is an update to Windows Phone that all WP customers will get AT THE SAME TIME for their device! Just like Mango!
Must be a frreakin' blast at Verizon Support in Georgia with the same phone running a variety of operating systems depending on whether or not the owner was "worthy" of an update.
...is that coffee that I smell???

I think that's one reason why VZW releases so many driods; they don't want to be bother testing/updating the OS for all the driods out there Why bother, just release another device; problem solved

How many Motorola devices and how many operating systems?
...and what does "fragmentation" mean? Does it have anything to do wiht the fact that only 1% of the thousands of Droid phones out there run Ice Cream Sandwich - yet another OS is being pushed out to market?
Time to release some new phones to put a band-aid on that bleeding!
