My LG Extravert recently stopped receiving multimedia text messages. I can see them if I log on to my verizon account online, but they never show up on the phone. And if they do show up it says "message has expired or is unavailable". Is any one else receiving this message? Any recommendations? I just updated the software so that is not the issue.

Help has arrived! Which text message application are you using on the device? Stock text app? What zip code are you located in? Has this affected standard text at all or voice and data?

I have a basic phone with no data package. It has not affected any regular text message, and I am not having any issues with receiving voicemail or regular phone calls. I am only using standard text messaging, although when I used to receive them it said multi media message. I am located in the zip code 96749. Why would that matter?

Have you restarted your device recently? Have you updated your PRL by dialing *228 send option 2? These may be helpful steps. Let us know if we can further assist!
