My Nokia 822 updated to Cyan and now I can't do any data functions. No Backup Assistant, IE, Wi-fi, or Bluetooth. Is this being worked on and has anyone else had this problem?

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble after your update! You should definitely be able to access data. What zip code are you in? Have you tried powering the phone off and back on? Lastly, when did your phone update? I want to assist and ensure this is resolved.

Thank you for your response.

1st My personal info John [removed]

The phone updated on last Tuesday.

It said to wait and the features would become available.

I tried turning off and restarting the phone, then pulled the battery and restarted again.

Neither restart changed anything.

Sorry I did not respond sooner, but Hopefully better late than never.

Let's check some settings. When you say that WiFi doesn't work, will it turn on, but not allow you to access the internet? Does it show connected? If not, does it just remain off?


Also, please check Settings>Cellular and see what the Data connection is set to. What zip code are you in? Do you know of anyone else with VZW having issues with service?
