How do I transfer pictures in in either MTP or PTP mode from Galaxy S6 to Windows 7PC?
I would set up a cloud-based service like OneDrive on the Samsung, transfer my photos to the cloud, and then set up that same OneDrive account on the Lumia.
Hi vpickel, Windows 7 good operating system. The first thing you want to do is go to Computer Management > Device Manager - and look in the column for Portable Devices expand it to see if the Windows phone is showing up in there.
I'm gonna assume it's not. So while in Device Manager expand Universal Serial Bus Controllers and locate USB Mass Storage Device. Right click on it and go to Properties then Update driver, when a Window comes up choose, search automatically for updated driver software.
Hopefully the Windows phone will now be active in Portable Devices.
