My HTC 8X froze and I did a soft reset - but had to pull the sim card to accomplish this. The sim card was not there! As in missing. Where did it go and what do I do now?

If your phone has been accessing the VzW network, then the SIM card was in the phone. Could it have fallen out of the SIM card tray when you removed the tray from the phone? You can get a replacement SIM card free by contacting Customer Service or by visiting your local Corporate VzW store.
