I'm interested in the 6" Windows phone and want to get one as soon as it comes out. Anyone have any information on a release date?
It is not yet showing on the Microsoft Store site. I would suggest you go there and ask in a chat channel when it will be come available. If you do go that way DO NOT purchase it thru Verizon. Get it unlocked directly from Microsoft/Nokia. Considering the number of Windows phones Verizon sells I would bet it will be available from AT&T first and never available from Verizon!
At this point, it's only a rumored device, but I keep seeing little blurbs about it here and there. As I am a big/tall guy with huge hands, I, too, am very much needing a Windows phablet. (It would be better if we could add a slideout keyboard as well.)
If one comes out, I wouldn't be surprised if they are waiting for Windows 10.
I know for me, if another good Windows phablet comes out (like the 1520) and Verizon refuses to carry it, I will probably dump them (even though I've been with them since 1998 - before the merger that became Verizon.)
What I don't get is why VZW doesn't carry a Windows Phablet. I know that when I asked about them, I was told that nobody wanted phablets as the form factor size was too big. I then asked, if that was true, why do they carry and sell a lot of the Galaxy Note and the iPhone6+ devices? Of course, they couldn't give any answer....
