When someone calls my cell phone it will ring with my ring tone for a few seconds then it lowers the volume of my ringtone till it's almost inaudible then repeats "so-&so is calling" till I answer it. This makes it difficult for me to hear my phone when it's inside my purse or pocket. Is there a way to change this? I like that it tells me who's calling but wish the ringtone wouldn't be almost silenced. Can someone help??!!

I understand your concern with regards to your phone's ringtone volume. The phone user guide for the Lumia 822 indicates that an incoming call will go to silence mode if the phone is turned facedown (please see page 23 at link below). Is it possible that you are turning your phone face down while attempting to answer?
