Plugging in headphones requires a twist...

I just got this phone, but I've noticed I've had to twist the headphones in after I plug them in for them to be detected...that IS a defect right, I'm not just going crazy and that's rather a feature of the phone or something?

Customer Support

Hello Jsybird2532,

I certainly understand wanting to make sure all the functions on your phone working. I can assure you regardless of the phone model, there is no twist function needed when plugging in your headphones. You may want to check if there is any debris in the head phone jack and clean that out. If you are still experiencing issues and it is not allowing you to utilize properly, you do have a one year warranty on the phone. Also since you said you just got the device, if still within 14 days, you do have the option to return the device with our worry free guarantee program. Please let us know if you need anymore help.
