Problems with 4G Service

I live in El Paso, TX. I was recently on vacation in Indiana. I am now beginning to notice that I have no 4G service, just 3G. Is there a reason why this is happening?? How can I get it fixed? I have a Nokia Lumina 928.

You probably need to upgrade your Preferred Roaming List and it's not happening automatically when you power off the phone.  Turn off the phone, remove the SIM card (be careful not to touch the gold contacts), wait a few minutes, then re-insert the SIM card, turn the phone back on, and give the phone a few minutes to re-establish a network connection.
