Hi, I've had my Nokia Lumia 928 for less than a week and it had some issues that warranted a replacement with a brand new phone. So the new Nokia Lumia 928 will arrive tomorrow. What do I need to return to Verizon besides the defective phone? Do I return the sim card, charging cables, etc? If I return the sim, how does the data backup work if my new sim card won't have any of my information? Any ideas?

No, just the phone. There should also be paperwork included with the replacement to confirm this.

Ok, thanks. I'm going to see what it says when it arrives. I just wasn't sure because the phone immediately prompts you for a sim card once turned on, so I didn't know if they'll need it back. Thanks.

No, because the SIM card you have is tied to your account. All you have to do is pull it from one phone and put it in the other, no further activation is needed. The replacement may not even come with a new SIM.
