I want to replace an old basic phone with an LG G2. I already have the phone. It needs a SIM card, and I want to keep the same phone number that the basic phone has. How do this?

I would go to a verizon corporate store. Make sure it's corporate and not retail. Corporate will give you a SIM card for free. Also they'll probably do the switch right there.

mklybor,
Being able to activate the device you want to use is definitely within your reach. You can stop into a Verizon corporate location to pick up a free SIM card. http://vz.to/1QEnwK4
