I am permanently on the do not call list. I block the 5 numbers but i have to change this about every wk just to keep up. Then new numbers call and i get about 2-5 robo calls a day. I have called verizon and the only thing they can offer me is to change my number. When that happens, it is invalid for 30 days. After the 30 days its able to be connected to another device. I am not changing my number. Ive had this same number for 9 years and this has only been an issue the last 2 years. Also, no one has my number other than friends and family. I do not list my number at my bank or other important places. On a brighter note... I checked with a few different carriers today... AT&T offers unlimited blocked calls.

The last time I checked, you have to subscribe to AT&T's Usage controls to block even a single phone number.  You might want to check that before you switch.  Verizon also allows the customer to block more numbers with its Usage Controls subscription.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

RE:  Robo Calls

Verizon, please add the Simultaneous Ring Feature so we can finally stop getting robocalls.  I have owned this telephone number for 14 years now.  I receive a lot of robo calls and try to block them but nothing works!  I tried to set up nomorobo calls: http://www.nomorobo.com/ for my cell phone.  Verizon has not upgraded their equipment to offer this service--which works.  Please do so.

I know its frustrating and annoying to receive unwanted calls chiefcc. I'm sorry we currently do not have this feature. I'm happy you have tried to block some of the numbers. You can also register your information with the donosolict registry online. We also have some features that can help block more numbers via our family base/usage control features. Check them out here http://vz.to/19jkOVm , http://vz.to/1gJZgYG . I hope this helps.

KinquanaH,  A mere apology is not what this post is about.   The point is we want a STATUS UPDATE from your company... what steps & what timeline are you working with to help reduce this.   Will you upgrade your technology?  Will you lobby congress to repeal the law that made this easier... WHAT are you going to do...   I'm sure you're smart enough to know that those features will not in any way solve the problem of a masked phone number robo-call.  Nor will any list as these are scam based criminal's who could care less about following the law.   Now, If you can't answer please get an answer from your boss and repost.
