I have a Samsung Intensity III from which I have successfully uploaded pictures to my PC in the past. To do that I have followed these steps:
(1) connect the phone to the PC using the USB cable/charger cable provided with the phone;
(2) select "USB Mass Storage" when prompted by the phone;
(3) get an "Autoplay" pop-up window prompting me with options;
(4) select the "Open folder to view files. From there I can usually find my pictures.
However, TODAY after step 4, I only see three files listed, no pictures. The files are:
(a) TLBootstrap_WPP;
(b) ModelName;
(c) Autorun.
FYI the computer is showing this drive as "CD Drive (E:) Verison Mobile.
I tried double-clicking on "TLBootstrap_WPP" and was prompted by Samsung to download and install new software. I did that, not sure what it installed, but there are still no visible picture files showing up on this drive. I know the pictures are there because I can browse to them on the phone. Why is the normal phone file system not mounting properly when I connect it to my PC?
