The regular Lumia 640 has a terrible front camera making it an unacceptable option, but the Lumia 640 XL has a great front camera and a super back camera along with a great processor making it an uber choice phone for windows users. I think Verizon has dropped the ball with it's current windows selection, and picking up the Lumia 640 XL would amend this. I'd really rather not look elsewhere.

Windows Phone is dying. My Lumia Icon had a great primary camera - 20MP with Zeiss optics. The front-facing "selfie" camera was crap, but who cares? Selfies??? Really??? Anyway, I sold my Icon because the apps just weren't there. With an insignificant market share that's still shrinking I don't blame any carrier from backing away from Windows Phone/Mobile. Maybe -- just maybe -- we'll see a new WP device after Windows 10 Mobile comes out in the fall. The Lumia 940 is the rumored "flagship" device on the horizon, but we'll have to wait and see who carriers it.
