Anyone know if its possible in Windows Phone to set a start and stop time for text messaging alerts? This was possible on my Android phone using a third-party SMS program.
The case is that I have friends that text me at all hours of the night.
With the 3rd party program, messages received after the designated end time were muted and did not wake the phone.
Settings->ringtones+sounds->New Text or IM->none
Disables the sound, so you won't be interrupted by the notification.
I don't understand why you would want to block a feature you pay for.
No app has access to do such a thing on Windows Phone unless its from the OEM.
I don't understand the aggravation of having your late night sleep interrupted.
As aphrophyre suggested, the HTC Trophy doesn't offer a setting that allows you to stop text messages at specific times, but maybe you can adjust the text message alert so the sound is not disruptive. Now have you considered adding Usage Controls to your line? You can set Time Restrictions for voice, messaging & data. This may help with stopping late interruptions.
I hope we have answered your questions, and have addressed your concerns.
