Sticker on batter and in batter "area"

I just bought a Nokia Lumia 822 off craigslist for 120 and now I am stressed I got a bum deal. When I took the battery out the sticker near the batter terminal and on the battery have a red checker design. Is this normal?

The round sticker with the red checker design is normal.On both the battery and the phone.
