Still waiting for 8.1 on HTC 8X... Are we ever going to get it?

They said it was supposed to be out in October but now it's November and I still haven't seen it??? Any answers?

HTC says as of this week that the 8.1 Update for the Verizon US market is in Stage 2 of 3 with Microsoft's Certification Process. Developers are running the 8.1.0 update with minor issues, save for a freezing clock and a Calendar app update that doesn't seem to happen. Th UK market is expecting the update in early December, so I expect we'll have it by the end of the year.

Given how nice the Windows 10 Tech Preview is working, I'd rather the energy gets put into moving over to that on all Windows devices in the spring....
