Strange screen artifacts

I can't tell what exactly it is, but when the screen is dark, or black, but still on, there are strange blotches and shapes visible.  This is especially noticeable on the Glance screen in a dark environment.  I don't really notice it when pictures are shown or most colors are shown.  It is almost as if something dripped onto the under screen and is affecting uniformity in the brightness.

I also see some tiny lighter marks on the windows logo touch button.  I noticed it at first and assumed it was just how the logo looked but I've seen others' Windows Phones and it isn't there.

Maybe this is a warranty issue and I should have the unit replaced?  I've only had it a month.

Customer Support

Congrats on your new phone SDLeMire. I'm sorry your seeing blotches and shapes on the screen. Yes, this is unusual for a new phone. I definitely recommend taking the phone back to the store for evaluation. It may need to be replaced. Is the phone damaged?I look forward to hearing from you.
