The Speech to Text Feature is a new Feature that will be available in the Microsoft "Mango" software update.  Verizon has not yet provided an ETA on when this update will be pushed out to the Trophy but hopefully it will be before then end of the year.

It works quite well on the Phones I have updated manually.
