Can anyone tell me how to shut off the notifications for text messages on this phone? I HATE that every time I get a text message, the screen lights up, the name of the person texting me and the first line from the message shows....this is in a locked screen position...I don't want everyone to see who texts me and what they have to say...this is AWFUL!!
Right now there is no setting to turn this off. You can either keep your phone screen side down or swipe to the right on the message on the lock screen or turn the phone off to get rid of the message.
I agree totally. This is a terrible feature of the phone. Not having a solution for it seems quite short sighted.
