Is there any way to copy or print a text thread from my Trophy? I would like to show someone a complete chain of threads from a year ago until now and would like to know the easiest way to get that data.
If this was an android phone, I would suggest downloading an application for backing up the SMS messages. Maybe there is something similar in Microsoft application store?

Good question Bales! As far as the whole thread is concerned, there is not a way to print that off. You can send the individual texts to your e-mail address via normal SMS and then have them all together. The easiest way to have that information is just to have it shown on the phone.
