I have an LG Revere 3 and I can only receive 3 text messages at a time because 297 of them will not delete. I have to continually delete the 3 messages I can delete to receive new messages. I have tried the options in Messaging, individually deleting them, Manage Inbox, and Locking/Unlocking them. I would like to delete the 297 "frozen" text messages please.

Since you have tried every mode to removed these text messages, your next step would be to process a Master Reset on your device. This will remove everything off your phone, so you will want to back up the media you want to keep, before you do this. Contacts can be backed up using Backup Assistant in your phone.
