Transfering Text Messages from Windows Lumina 928

I was just wondering if anyone knows of any software available to transfer text messages, call logs and contacts to either my computer, cloud or new device Moto g6.  I have a Nokia 928 which does not have a SD card.  I have Windows 8.1 and have tried the Backup in settings which has not worked in some time. I have used Backup Assistant Plus, and it says it was sucessful, but I do not know where my files are stored. I have tried to use Contacts + messages backup, but it just hangs, with the message "looking for items to backup".
