Transferring iTunes Library

I have been having a hard time transferring my music library onto my Lumia 822.  I've connected my phone to the computer, and since my PC is running on Vista I use the Windows Explorer to move all the music folders into the "Music" folder on my Windows Phone.  But then I cannot see the files/songs when I go into "My Music" on the phone.  The files are in there somewhere, but I can't locate them.
