I connected my enV2 to my desktop. The driver was installed and the desktop recognizes the phone but I can't see any content. I need to move my photos to my computer. I inserted an SD card and selected "MOVE from photo to SD card". The operation seemed to be working but then it failed saying that there wasn't enough memory on the card. It now appears that I am missing photos from my phone. Would the tool have erased my photos when it couldn't transfer them? Are my photos hanging out in a hidden memory location? I would appreciate any help with this. I should have downloaded these photos 5 years ago and I'd really like to have them. PLEASE help!

Can you view any files on the SD card? Can you see your photos either with or without the SD card in the phone? If the files did get corrupted in the transfer, they may be lost.
Get a new SD card and transfer as much as yo can of what is left -

How much storage did the SD card in the ENV2 have? I'm sure the phone can support a card that would allow you to save all the pics from the phone to the SD card.
Try a larger SD card; also, see which photos (if any) transferred to the SD card, save them to your computer, wipe the card and save more - can you still see the photos on the phone?

Thanks for responding. The problem now is that my photos don't show up when I review MyPictures on the phone. Could they have been moved to a intermediate memory location during the move to the SD card? Or were the erased when the move to SD failed?

When I had that phone the best way to move photos was just to send them to my email address. I could never get it to work right with the computer to do any of that. Mary

Thanks for the suggestion. We tried to send them to our email but that didn't work. At this point I can't see the photos in MyPhotos so I'm worried that they were erased when the "move to sd card" didn't work. Do you know if the move will erase the photos if the command to move fails? Or are my photos hidden in a memory buffer somewhere.
