This is the second update released and still no update from Verizon?

No idea on 8107, and no guarantees.  I'd say since we're on Verizon, we ought to get it around the time Apollo is hitting six months old.  Apollo, for those who don't know, is after Tango, the next major update (and there is no word from Microsoft whether Tango will actually come to all devices or not).

The firmware was updated today, but no software beyond mango (7720)

Where is it VZW?

really where I get this update cause when I connect to computer it tells me I am already up-to-date at

Just Updating!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did not factory Reset I just plugged my phone into my computer, opened Zune and there we go!

STATUS UPDATE this was in fact minor radio update NOT 8107.79

COME ON VERIOZON

well I had to factory reset phone before saw update so then had to redownload/reinstall all my apps, etc.. but boy well worth it as 3G actually works now............

The way of getting to 7.10.8107.89 http://robertmclaws.com/updating-your-windows-phone-to-8107

is no longer workable as the WP7 CAB Update Sender was on MegaUpload and no longer is available. The actual cab's are on the MS download site and are still available.

I have applied the 8107 using this tool and it seems to work fine.
