VZW is sold out to Droid and iOS and it does only what the big companies pay them for. VZW does not care for its customers and does not offer good phones and features on devices that run other than android or iOS. Like VZW does not offer visual voice mail on windows phone. <Offensive language removed per TOS> Dare me if you can offer a VVM feature on the Windows device.

Uhhh, all the other carriers carry primarily android phones. I don't get people who expect business to cater to each individuals needs and still expect that business to remain profitable.
if 80% of your customers wanted yellow hats and 5% wanted blue hats.. which would you spend your time trying to attract?
Well what if only yellow hats were being offered to begin with and the blue hats were being hidden from stores and web sales and that they will be offered only to people who call VZW and ask for it. You are posing a chicken or egg first situation.
customers do not have the concern of their vendor to remain profitable at their own cost. i hope that's simple business and consumer behavior question. however, only if the vendor chooses to offer variety there will be enough competition among manufacturers and that competition will only benefit the end user ...in this case you, me and many others like us. thank you.
well we are posing a situation that has not yet occurred. doesn't it make sense that an oligopoly is better than a duopoly or a monopoly for all economic reasons in favor of the consumer
all i am saying is that it is always nice to have options even if it may not be suitable to you...but hey there are others whom it may be suitable....all i am saying is verizon needs to stop pushing the motorola androids and iphones down our throat and look for options from all sorts of device manufacturers.
lg, samsung, htc, sony, nokia, casio, and rim. these are other manufacturers that they carry. they don't hide them or otherwise. click on "shop" and select "smartphones" and they are all there.
now, if you are upset simply because they don't have the specific windows phone that you want, then take it up with microsoft or the actual manufacturers (htc, nokia, etc). verizon has stated that they won't be launching any windows 7 phones, with windows 8 launching this fall. it's also going to take microsoft a while to prove themselves. windows mobile platform has already failed once in the past. just how much would you want to invest in a product that has a poor track record? with 3-4% of the market share of smartphones, i think one windows phone is enough, until windows 8 launches.
they got absolutely burned on the hp palms and palm pre's. they have reason to step cautiously with windows phones.
