Verizon is so passive aggressive towards WP7 phones.

I have HTC Trophy for all employees in my company. When I went to Verizon store (a couple of them) to get the deal done a year ago, a sales representatve did everything he could to make me change my mind.

Now, I'm glad that I didn't follow the advice. However, HTC Trophy is already obsolete and there are Nokia Lumia phones available on the market, both at T-Mobile and AT&T. It's not clear to me what's the reason for Verzon not to include them in the offering. On teh other hand, it is clear to me that I'm not going to wait forever to get the phones that I believe are fit for my company.

What's the rationale from the business perspective to ignore the growing market segment?

VZW is waiting for Windows Phone 8 so I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for any WP7 Lumia (or any other WP7 device) appearing on VZW network.
