Verizon should not even sell these phones

I have tried 8 Nokia 928's and a HTC Windows phone now. All have major issues and are just pure frustration to own. Verizon will hide the fact that Windows phones have issues and are unwilling to help customers that are sick of having chosen this Windows operating system. I wonder if Windows is pressuring Verizon to hide issues with these phones and there operating system. I have spent between 17 and 21 hours on the phone with technical support with these Windows phones and just want to go back to an Android system. Verizon wont give me anything other than another Windows phone without charging me more money and extending their contract. I find this to be very poor Customer Service with the history I have with Windows phones.

If Verizon didn't sell Windows Phones there would be a massive riot.

It's not poor customer service, you just don't like the rules..........which you agreed to when you signed the agreement.

With that said, it's a hit and miss with those phones. Many customers report them as perfect and many report them as garbage.

No matter how bad the phones are (I had poor experience with them as well) you agreed to it for the 2 year term and you are stuck with it.....unless you pay full price for another device.

I would try eBay or Swappa, the usually have good prices on phones.

my first windows phone was great for awhile then it started randomly having an unresponsive touch screen, VZN sent me a new one 2nd day had the issue again soft reset the info went to the store shortly there after and was told all they could do was send me a new phone and they looked through the database and had never heard of the screen being unresponsive or really any problems with the 928. Rather then just getting a new phone again since this is obviously i known issue I assumed there would be a fix in the next update. I just periodically soft reset it then i woke up yesterday and back speaker didnt work anymore. Soft reset didnt work so i tried a hard reset and now i am stuck on the spinning coggs Smiley Sad.... Its not a bad phone i just think there should be better communication to the store peeps about fixes for the phones.

While I may have signed a contract for two years, I did so assuming I would get a device that worked and customer support that would help me if I did have problems. I have given Windows Phones a fair try and find them to be simply faulty devices. I deserve a quality product after putting up with these defective phone for the last 7 months. I reported my problems with my phone within the 30 days switch time frame but they talked me into giving it a fair try with a promise of switching me to another system if I could not find a Windows Phone that worked. Well I fulfilled my end of the agreement but Verizon will not keep there end of the agreement. As for Verizon selling Windows Phone in general, they should only sell phones that work as promised and these Windows Phones don't work as promised. By the number of replies you have posted I can only assume you are a Verizon employee attempting to do damage control for Verizon and will try to point out some technical point in my post just to try to make Verizon look good.

There are no fixes because Verizon refuses to see there are problems with these phones even though they are posted here under every Windows Phone I read up on, and have received several calls about these issues. I believe the concept is good but the reality is like so many other Windows products, flawed. I wish the phones would work but I have been attempting to get Verizon to give me a reliable Windows Phone and they cant.

And by your response I can assume you are a Verizon hater.

Your post was over in the first sentence. 9 phones are not an issue. Besides the return policy is 14 days not 30. You had ample time to return the phone or phones. You had a chance to switch. If it didn't work at first you should have switched then. You do have opportunities to go back to android....swappa ebay full retail or pay your etf and switch to another provider.  But this isn't Verizon fault. Own up and move on.

I was not a Verizon hater till they jerked me around with keeping me in this Windows Phone till they can say I can no longer do anything about it. Like I pointed out in my prior post you appear to be a Verizon employee doing damage control. As for your comment about 9 phones not being an issue. What do you call an issue? Phones that don't work are an issue to non-Verizon employee's. We are paying for a phone that should work not ones that have problems every day and cause us frustration.
