Several weeks ago, Verizon asked MS to provide information about 4G-LTE enabled WP7 devices.
Today, Verizon got their answer: http://www.wpcentral.com/att-bring-first-4g-lte-windows-phones-us-market
Yes, these are LTE enabled 4G devices. Yes, they run on AT&T 4G LTE Networks.
No, AT&T did not lose thier LTE Network 3 times in 30 days (but Verizon did). No, this is not AT&T faux 4G. No, AT&T does not have as many LTE cities as Verizon (yet).
Ever been behind a school bus where that punk-a$$ kid is in the back seat giving you the finger out of the back window? I bet Verizon knows what I am talking about!

VZW has about the best LTE network granted it has it's hiccups; at&t is going to have it's growing pains when it gets thier LTE network up an running in a larger area....
All VZW cares about is pumping out driod devices like it going out style. They are going to saturate the market so bad with these many devices people are going to leave in droves for something different. Hello at&t/t-mobile.
I guess at&t paid a pretty price to get the windows phone exclusive and it's sad that Microsoft/Nokia and HTC chose at&t over VZW network for their LTE roll out when it clear the VZW has a better LTE coverage nationwide.
VZW get your head out driod's butt and smell the air. Blackberry is knocking on deaths door and if Apple doesn't revolutionize iOS with iOS 6 it's going to die as well. You'll be left holding driods hand looking at all your customers leaving and asking what did I do wrong.

Either Verizon does not care about windows phones or Microsoft is pretty much saying this phone is just a game because its obvious that either both or one of them is not serious about windows phones! I believe shortly I will have to jump ship because I will not own an android or apple device!

The way that VZW treats MSFT, I'm wondering if there is some back room deal between VZW & Google to keep MSFT away from the customers?

I am with you on jumping ship if Verizon doesn't work something out with WP7...
One decent device? They are WAY too entrenched in Android & iPhone which is a shame as WP is a fantastic device.
I just wish AT&T or TMobile had better service in my area. That is the ONLY thing making me stick with VW.

It would certainly seem that way.
Went in to my local VZW to activate a feature phone, and asked the service rep there if he knew if they would be getting any new WP devices, knowing full well what his answer would be, and he effectively said he knows NOTHING about WP, and LOVES his Droid.
Hasn't even played with a WP according to him.
Great way to educate your employees VZW on how to make a sale or at least not seem quite so biased.
It's really too bad there isn't a better relationship with MS and VZW, if that is the problem, as I feel that WP would sell well on VZW.

If that was the case why would VZW carry the Trophy at all? Just to placate some customers?
VZW made a big mistake turning down the iPhone and the paid dearly for that, now history is repeating itself by ignoring Windows Phone.

I think VZW has the trophy just to say that they have a WP7 device.
