My son's Versa phone was smashed in mid-download and is now frozen and unfixable. He thinks he used the contact backup feature, but I can't find it. Would anyone have any suggestions to check if indeed the contacts are still retrievable? Any ideas would be most appreciated.

Using HIS phone number and a password that he would have set up, go to verizonwireless.com and log in. If you CAN log in with his phone number, then under the MyVerizon menu item is a link to My Device, then Back Up My Contacts. If they were backed up, they will show up there.

If he did, indeed, back up his contacts via Backup Assistant, you'll be able to view them on-line in My Verizon.
