After just a few days of sales, the WP7 Lumia 710 tops the list at T-Mobile.

It seems that whether you carry 1, 5 or 10 WP7 phones (VZW, AT&T, Amazon, T-Mobile, etc.) - the customer ratings are consistently on top for the Windows Phone.  That includes criteria like user interface (ease of use), battery life, app performance and other areas where you frequently see the iPhone, BlackBerry and Droid devices take a beating.

Customers happy with BOTH the device and operating system?  Hum?  VZW HTC Trophy seems to reflect the same numbers after review by +800.

It makes you think who is feeding FUD to the powers that be.

Now with RIM (Blackberry) looking for a buyer, it seems it would look like more of a safe bet on Windows Phone.

Sadly it seems the VZW might be waiting for Windows Phone 8 before they jump in with both feat.

It's hard to judge the FUD Factor here, verses the Verizon Executive Puppets doing with the investors tell them to do.

On top of the cellular acquisitions and expansions we have seen at Verizon over the past few years (like Alltel), Verizon has also jumped into FIOS / Cable and other areas of technology.  As a public company, all of that rolls up to a total company number, image, and board of investors.  VZ on the NYSE has a top story today about VZ getting back into the Tennis Channel.  WTF that has to do with our Windows Phones?  Really nothing, and it shows the gap in their concern and the distractions they have as a much larger public company.  Additional current stories include concerns about what Comcast is doing, what Sprint is doing, etc.  Again, much larger distractions for VZ as a whole than a new Nokia, HTC, or Samsung Windows Phone.

RIM is another big distraction for Verizon.  Every big business customer they have got suckered into the BlackBerry because of the email security.  On top of devices, every business got suckered into buying big RIM Enterprise Email Servers and other hardware / staffing investments.  My company is one of those suckers; I had to move back to a personal plan because the technology got so bad and the options were so limited.

I still believe that Verizon remains in a fog as a result of growing pains.  While the potential is there, it simply seems like the bigger the company, the slower the decisions.  Hopefully with enough noise, petitions, etc. we can draw some attention to these Windows Phones and correct this gap at Verizon.

Next will be getting their FIOS more affordable.  To date, they still can't touch Comcast or Time Warner in a multi-TV environment!
