What can I do about my picture texting?

My Samsung Brightside is not allowing me to send or receive picture texts. When I try sending them it says that it has failed (I even tried sending one to myself). When a friend tries sending me one, it just comes up blank.

I already tried that whole rebooting thing, where you type in *288 (I forget what the numbers actually are).

Does anyone know what could possibly be wrong or what I can do to fix it?

Thanks for explaining what you have done to attempt to resolve this issue CIreland1. Just to make sure, did you dial *228 option 2? If your phone is still not allowing you to send or receive MMS, we'll need to check your account to make sure the feature is still active and further troubleshoot.
