You posted this in Basic phones so I am assuming you have a basic phone, not a smartphone. Memory on a basic phone is minimal. Delete all your sent,drafts, and received texts and restart the phone. See if that frees up enough space to start you receiving messages again.

Let's get those messages flowing again, luce. Our friend SuzyQ had a great suggestion to start with. If that didn't help, please let us know what model phone you have and if the person sending you text messages receives any error message.
