Why did my Speakerphone stop working?

My Lumia 822 Speakerphone just stopped working. Will not function with phone calls, voice memo app, nor Cortana. Worked fine until 48 hours ago. Have uninstalled/reinstalled voice memo app and completed a soft reset without success in resolving the issue. Is there a setting that mutes the Speakerphone function that I am missing, or is there another thing to try - other than a Hard Reset, that is a LAST resort!!

I am so sorry to hear about the issues with your speakerphone. I appreciate all you have done thus far. Is it just your mic for speakerphone that is affected? Are you still able to hear notifications and can others still hear you on calls when not on speaker phone? Did anything change on your device around the time this issue started?
