Why doesn't my name come up on other people's caller id?

is it possible that my name should come up on the caller id fro who i am calling  ?

If you go into My Verizon, click on Profile, from that menu choose "Edit Share Name ID", it will show you to choose how you want your name to show up on others caller ID.
