I am a low user of my cell phone. Yet my voice mail box retention seems to be high.
Callers are told when going to voice mail that my voice mail is full and as a result they cannot leave a message.
I have been unable to correct this.
What can I do.
thank you for any assistance.

Dial *86 and enter your VM password. Listen to your messages, delete ones you no longer need. The basic voicemail has capacity to store about 20 messages

Having full control of your voicemail is important. Have you checked the saved folder, to see how many messages are in there?

All my voicemails are deleted but still says it is full so I have no answer for that. However I was able to change my voicemail password. Go to Settings, then phone, at the bottom you can click Change Voicemail Password. Or you can change it on Verizon.com. All my voicemails are deleted but still says it is full.

We know the importance of having your voicemail service work properly for you. We are here to help.
What model phone do you have? Have you made sure you do not have any saved voicemails as well? We ask because new voicemails and saved ones both count towards your total limit.

I am also having similar issues. I have an iphone 7 plus. I have no messages saved on my phone. I tried calling *86. The message indicates my voice mail is full but does not give me an option to delete voice mail messages.

I am having the very same issue. No saved messages on my iPhone 8 and *86 says my inbox is empty. Come on Verizon, seriously???? I've been having this issue for over 3 weeks and just found this community post. I can't believe this is the first round of complaints Verizon has received about this issue.

bdr3355, having a full voicemail box isn't what we want for anyone currently impacted as it's crucial you receive all your new voicemails on time.

Turning off WiFi worked for me, but this is not a viable long-term solution. What’s the ETA for a reasonable fix?

Very dissapointed that this error, that is happening to many other Verizon users including myself, hasn't been publicized so that we could be aware of the problem. To find out that it is occurring, retroactively, is beyond dissapointing.
What is the ETA on addressing this on the Verizon side?

Fushilane,
I utilize Voicemail all the time, so I completely understand its importance. I'm determined to assist you. Let's gather some information, to make sure we're on the same page. What device do you have? What do callers hear when calling you? Have you gone into the Voicemail to make sure all new messages are deleted or saved? Please clarify these details, thanks very much.
