Why is my device randomly turning off?

My phone has been randomly turning on and off, freezing and today it froze, buzzed continuously, then went black and is dead. I've tried everything to restart it. Seems to have happened gradually and more often ever since the latest update. However, today it doesn't seem to be completely gone. There was no damage done to the phone.

If you speak with Verizon via another phone or in a corporate store and follow the troubleshooting steps and have no success, you might receive a replacement phone if still under warranty.
