Why is there a tone after a missed call and it only happens with the Verizon carrier

If you go into settings/ringtones and sounds....is there an option to turn off that setting?

Let's get to the bottom of the tone for you.  Is the tone happening if you miss a call on your device?  Or is it happening when you are on the phone and another call comes in?  We look forward to hearing back from you.
