I recently purchased the Nokia Lumia 822 phone 7 Motorola Xoom Tablet- also a jet pak to repace my outdated broadband card- I don't want to use the Jet Pak for Wi-fi connection when I'm at home for either one- I have a wireless router in the home that I use for my laptop- Although the phone recognizes this wi-fi connection when I put in the password it just won't connect on either device- I recently was at a friends house and he had a wireless connection and my phone connected with no problem- any ideas on how to correct this- I have a NetGearN600 (WNDR3700) wireless- I did not set this up so I don't even know if I know the password or if there is one- I previously had a Droid 4 & wireless connection was not a problem - I also have a Verizon signal amplifier- very seldom get 4g service at home- 3G has very low bars- mostly 1X signal Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

Make sure your router is using at a minimum WPA2-PSK [AES] for security on your wireless network.
Take a look at page 2-4 of the user manual (http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/WNDR3700V1/WNDR3700_UM_16OCT2009.pdf) to see if you need to change the configuration setting.

Bossdove,
Woo Hoo! Congrats on your new Nokia Lumia 822! I am sure that you will love this phone. If the both devices are unable to make a connection to wireless router, then you would need to look at the settings on the router.
It sounds like you may need to reset the password on the router
