Anyone have this issue with a Lumia 928? I choose "slow" releases, phone reboots, and it just comes back to the home screen. Checking for updates, and nada. Thoughts?
Tried factory defaulting the phone, it's on Wifi... all good there. Not sure what the deal is.
Yeah, that's actually the part I'm confused about... I'm still on 8.1. I choose slow updates in Windows Insider, phone reboots as part of the process, and never downloads Windows 10.
The reboot just sets the phone up for when there is a release on the slow ring. Right now the last two build released were on the the fast ring and Microsoft has chosen not to release those builds on the slow ring do to instability of the those builds. So we have to wait till there's a build Microsoft is comfortable to release to the slow ring.
WP 10 isn't even close to being "ready for prime time"... I've installed it a couple of times and have had to roll back to 8.1 on my HTC One (M8). There's quite a bit they just haven't finished and still a lot of bugs. I'll probably keep following the build progress, but honestly, I think it will be months before I'll consider loading it again to see where it's at.
I agree, it's definitely getting there! I'm running 572 on my daily driver and there are some rough patches here and there. I hope they release a new build soon. I am getting tired of rolling back to 8.1 just to upgrade though.
