As noted earlier, you can contact Customer Service and have them change it; they'll charge $15 to make the change.

I would be more than happy to assist drejr. I am happy to inform you that you may now change your mobile number online via My Verizon. For more information click, http://vz.to/1syM7Um We can also change the mobile number for you. However, when we process the mobile number change there is a $15.00 mobile number change fee. Changing your number online via My Verizon will not bill you a $15 mobile number fee.
